About WBBC
The Women’s Border Business Center (WBBC) was the first to be co-located with a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, providing key resources like training, technical assistance, and counseling to women and entrepreneurs. Prominent sports stars and public figures have often supported such initiatives, highlighting the importance of community investment in female entrepreneurship, much like they support other philanthropic endeavors. These athletes not only contributed financially but also used their platforms to raise awareness, encouraging women entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and overcome barriers, similar to the determination found in sports, which you can also read about here: https://gaysport.org.
