The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (EPHCC) is a respected private, non-profit Economic Development Organization with a 34-year legacy. The EPHCC specializes in offering bilingual technical assistance, educational programs, access to financing, contract opportunities, and essential guidance to enhance the region’s minority business community.

Technical Assistance Expertise

For the past 24 years, the EPHCC has successfully administered several grants focused on providing technical assistance and guidance to micro, small, minority, and women-owned businesses in our region. These initiatives have been instrumental in fostering growth, sustainability, and economic empowerment within our diverse business community, these include:

  • The Women’s Business Border Center (funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration) (2001-present)
  • WBBC Covid Response Team (2020-2022)
  • The MBDA Business Center (funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce and operated by the Hispanic Chamber) (2008-2024)
  • The El Paso Coronavirus Response & Relief Center (2020-2022)
  • The MBDA Federal Procurement Supplement (2022-2023)
  • Workforce Solutions Borderplex-Business Intelligence Grant (funded by Workforce Solutions) since (2019-present
  • The Minority Women’s Enterprise Diversity Center funded through the U. S. Department of Commerce (Sept. 1, 2018-Aug. 31, 2020)
  • City of El Paso CARES program providing outreach and technical assistance to micro and small businesses affected by COVID. (Aug. 1-Dec. 30, 2020)
  • The County of El Paso-Economic Development Department, administering a grant for CARES funding through September-December 30, 2020.
  • El Paso County FASTER Grant, Jan. 1- February 15, 2021
  • The AT&T Grant Job Training & Digital Access Grant, October 1, 2021-September 30, 2022
