We will be hosting a free employers’ Disability Awareness Training session from 9am-10:30am on Tuesday, December 10 at the El Paso Hispanic Chamber’s Tech Training Center on 4141 Pinnacle, Suite 120. It will be led by Felicia Patrick with the Texas Workforce Commission’s Vocational Rehabilitation Program.
Persons with disabilities make up a larger portion of the workforce than we probably think. According to the US Centers for Disease Control, more than 1 in 4 adults in the US has a disability, along with 1 in 8 working age adults. Topics for this session include:
