Womens Border Business Center

First Women’s Business Center to be co-located with a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the United States.

We serve as a business resource to help women-owned businesses through the verification process for the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) federal contracting programs.

Recipient of the 2014 & 2018 Regional Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award given by the Region VI U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Women’s Business Border Center provides information, training, individual technical assistance, and business development opportunities for women, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in starting or expanding a business.

WBBC is designed to help individuals access the guidance, resources, and insight needed to better understand and manage their business. Through support in areas such as finance, management, marketing, procurement, technology, and business planning, we help entrepreneurs build stronger foundations and identify new opportunities for growth.

Our center also offers assistance with specialized topics, including home-based businesses, career transitions, corporate downsizing, and workforce re-entry. No matter where someone is in their business journey, WBBC serves as a resource to help them take the next step.

We are committed to helping women start, grow, and manage their businesses with access to resources, guidance, and opportunity, regardless of social or financial barriers, race, ethnicity, or business background.

Technical Assistance

We understand the process of starting a business can be confusing. The WBBC provides information, training, individual technical assistance and opportunities for not only women but anyone interested in starting or expanding their business. We create opportunities for anyone who wants to access business information, personal guidance and insight into business-management skills.

Counseling Services

The Women’s Business Border Center provides services in developing a business plan, financial projections or forecasts, obtaining financing, management , marketing plan , as well procurement opportunities, and identifying new markets for women owned businesses. We want you to understand the business fundamentals, from getting a loan, to writing a business plan and keeping your taxes in order. Our expertise will be your guide to meet your business goals.

Training Services

The Women’s Business Border Center offers a variety of small business trainings designed to support entrepreneurs at different stages of their business journey. These trainings provide practical knowledge, guidance, and tools to help individuals start, manage, and grow their businesses with greater confidence.
