Description: The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Business Border Center is a Third Party Certifier for the SBA’s Woman Owned Small Business & Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business Contracting Program. The session will inform you of the certification process, eligibility and key tips to make sure that you have a streamlined process in trying to obtain your woman owned certification. The federal government will make a great customer for any small business but especially for women entrepreneurs. Join us for the free webinar to inform you how you can access new markets and procurement opportunities through federal contracting. The guest speaker for the session is Mary Helen Aldeis Program Director for the Women’s Business Border Center. Your Women’s Business Border Center is a joint project between the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Women’s Business Ownership for more than twenty years serving our small business community and has had the Third Party Certifier designation since the inception of the program in 2011! We create opportunities for women or anyone who wants to access business information, personal guidance, and insight into business-management skills. Our services are open to anyone regardless of their gender, race, or if you are a member of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
