2017 TAMACC Awards!



The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce Recognizes the Efforts of Local Businesses and Individuals at the Annual State Convention In Irving, Texas!

(El Paso, TX)- July 19th, 2017

The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) is hosting the 42nd Annual Hispanic Business Convention of Texas August 3 – 5, 2017 in Irving, Texas. At this year’s convention TAMACC will be recognizing and awarding five recipients from El Paso! Each Year, TAMACC members nominate individuals and companies from all across the state to receive these prestigious awards. Award recipients are selected by a committee who reviews nomination packets from all across the state. The TAMACC Hispanic Business Convention of Texas is one of the biggest statewide attended business gatherings. Every year, TAMACC awards and recognizes individuals and organizations who continue to exceed the expectations of the organization at the annual convention.  

“It is very exciting to learn that the hard work and dedication of 5 El Paso businesses & individuals is being recognized at the state level by such an important organization.” States Cindy Ramos-Davidson, CEO of The El Paso Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce. “El Paso has seen the hard work of all of the honorees and now the state of Texas gets the opportunity to learn what El Paso business is all about.”

The Award Recipients from El Paso include: El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, 2017 Large Hispanic Chamber of The Year; Vincent Castro, 2017 Businessman of the Year – West Castro El Paso; Yolanda Diaz, 2017 Businesswoman of the Year - Mirador Enterprises, Inc.; Honorable Joe Moody, 2017 Government Hispanic Business Advocate of the Year - Texas House of Representatives; & Tenet Healthcare – The Hospitals of Providence, 2017 Corporate Business Advocate of the Year.
